Paul Vitale’s Impala is stunning under the showroom lights, but it draws even more attention at the Pure Stock Muscle Car Drag Races in Stanton, MI running low 13s in the quarter mile! It may look refined and proper with its unassuming non-SS™ flat hood, but this car is pure heavy metal. The sneaky 427 badges quietly warn of the rumbling beast within. Paul found this car in a shopping center lot in 1985 when he bought it. He drove it for four years as his daily driver before restoring it in 2000. To this day, he still drag races this beauty every chance he gets between polishings for car shows! In March 2010, this car was also featured in Hemmings Muscle Machines 1967-1968 Chevy® Impala™ buyer’s guide.
