This beautifully-restored 1970 Plymouth Duster was sold by Mecum Auctions, featured as Lot F167 at the 2019 Indianapolis auction. Extensive work and time was invested in the restoration of this first-year Duster with over $21,000 in components alone. In total, around $65,000 went into the full restoration. This 1970 Duster 340 is painted FC7 In-Violet with V6X and V8X black body stripes. Under the hood is the proper 340 cubic inch 4BBL engine rated at 275 horsepower. The black interior features the optional front bench seat. Adding to its documented history, this Duster was accompanied by its original 1970 window sticker! After several back and forth bids, the reserve was lifted. The gavel dropped for a final sale price of $46,200.
